Being a corporate mom is very challenging, going to work early morning and your child is still asleep then going home late from work due to heavy traffic, and then again, your child had already fallen asleep waiting for you. This is why I am considering to be a work at home mom, I want to spend more time with her. As a corporate mom, I know I have a lots of opportunities waiting for me, even promotions. But, I am willing to give up all of those, just to be with my daughter and I am willing to be a work at home mom. I know it will not be easy but with right education and training, I know I can do it and be successful.
One day as I was browsing through my phone, I saw this post from Facebook about FVA Consultancy. They are offering this Freelancing course, which is perfect for me who doesn’t have any idea about it and is considering to work at home. I enrolled and said to myself,
“I will finish this course and get serious about it because this is it! This is the right time to learn about it and have my plan about shifting from being a corporate mom to a work at home mom.”
I am now currently on my 12th coaching session and I am currently doing my portfolio. I am planning to enroll myself to other courses as well, like Social Media Depth Course and Video Editing course, in which I am interested also. As Coach Grace said, the founder and CEO of FVA Consultancy, the more skills you have, the more chances of having more clients. She will really guide you in everything. Thank you Coach Grace for training us well. Hoping someday that I can give back something in return.
For those corporate moms who also wants to shift to be work at home mom, we may have different reasons, but we have one main reason why we want to do this. That is, we want to be with our family and nothing else can judge us from that. I know, we moms, can do this! Never give up and keep learning.
